Alley Calling All Clowns! Former Class Clowns, &
Even Clowns Without Class!!!!
The Clown Alley program has been a tradition in the
Festival since 1972. Christine Davison, a graduate of
the famed Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Clown School,
teaches participants character definition, make-up,
costuming and performance techniques during the five
class series. Children and adults will learn the finer
points of becoming a professional clown and will be
invited to show off their new skills and ride on the All
Children’s float in the Illuminated Night Parade. |

The Coronation Ball &
Pageant is the Suncoasters annual black tie gala
offering an exquisite evening of fabulous food,
entertainment, dancing, the coronation of Mr. or Ms. Sun
and the crowning of the Sungoddess. The ball helps raise
funds to support the Suncoaster’s commitment to
education in the St. Petersburg/Pinellas area. Each year
the Suncoasters and the Festival donate approximately
$30,000 to area schools and students for scholarship and
incentive programs including: The Sungoddess and Jr.
Sungoddes Scholarship Programs, the All County Music
Fest/Music Education, the Harvey’s 5K Run School
