Festival of States Familyfest

The Festival of States Familyfest is the City of St. Petersburg's largest family event. The Saturday, April 18, 2009 Familyfest will be located in North Straub Park, downtown St. Petersburg and will include two areas of live entertainment. There are also games, inflatables, rock climbing wall, bungee jump, batting booth, Radio Disney, free make and take booths and tasty foods and drink. Come for the Day Parade at 10:00a.m.and continue on to North Straub Park from 12:00 Noon to 4:30 p.m.

Entry is FREE. Some venues require a purchased ticket. All inclusive wrist bands are offered at $10.00 or individual coupons at $1.00 each.

Transportation: The Downtown Looper Trolley will provide regular service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18th. However, you should expect some delays due to the parade and other downtown events. For more information and the Downtown Looper routes, please visit www.LooperTrolley.com.

The Festival of States produces events in celebration of St. Petersburg’s legacy and future, to be enjoyed by the total community, and to raise money for schools in art and music programs and scholarships.
